I just had to share this with you all. After doing a lot of research on home made food ingredients, I made my first batch of silversides, mysis shrimp, and some dried nori. After a short toast dedicated to the brine shrimp that I will no longer use, in went the new blend. If only my fish could talk, they would say "what the heck is this stuff?" Kind of like the look I give my wife when she cooks something super healthy! Their old diet consisted mostly of brine shrimp, nori, formula two. (like eating at mcdonalds everyday).
So my question is did it take a while for the fish to acclimate to eating home made food? I intend on adding some vitamins to the mix, but this was just a trial run today.
The fish list includes:
Hippo Tang
Yellow Tang
Pair of Clarkii Clowns
Red Coris Wrasse

Thanks,
Matt

did you add any Selcon, Zoecon or Vitamins?

fish need lipid or highly unsaturated fatty acids (HUFA) supplement..as the current ingredients does not support these.

That's actually that one of the articles that made me change their diet. Great information. Those vitamins are on my list for my next run to the LFS. Are there any other place to get proper vitamins other than the LFS?

Well, after the 1st day of the new diet, the fish didn't come out from the rocks for most of the day. Not as much as usual at least. Hopefully they will get used to the new food.
