ok i got these guys about 2 months ago, and they were doin great. Probably about 30-40 head with ease and completely covered the entire rock.

Over the past 4 days ONLY these guys have disappeared into MAYBE 10-15 polyps. Everything else in the tank is doin great and growing. They are in the front right of the tank and are target fed with DT's and 1x a week Mysis.

Like I said everything else in the tank is growing and looks great. Anythoughts on why its just these guys?

TIA

No answer for you, but I'll be checking this post regularly! I have had a colony similar to yours for a few months and it was doing great up until a few weeks ago. I'm not sure if they are being eaten or what. They just seem to be "going away."

Hope we both get some advice!

What's your alkalinity level at? I had my zoos retract big tim ewhen my alk level dipped lower than it should have. I have since increased the alk and the zoos are back looking happy as ever.

all water params are on the money. ph 8.2 am 0 ni 0 na 0 ca 460 alk 12

I'd guess that something is munching on them then.

Any new fish additions?

New live rock (hitchhiker)?

New lighting or change bulbs recently (might have stunned them)?

Flow pattern change?
