Just drilling the bottom for now to see if I got the right info:p If it works out well, I'll get the overflow made and put down the new bottom and then work on the rest afterwards I guess:)

that's kewl that you're not going crazy on the holes  :p:D .
i hope you're not planning on putting sand though .

ROFL!!! MAybe 2 hammerheads:lol:

Well...Here she is!! The bottom isn't tempered for sure(LOL) Now once I figure out how I will do my overflow and so forth, then I'll drill the rest of the holes for the flow. I did the hole big enough to support a 1.5inch bulkhead although a 1 inch is in it for the pic:)

LOL!! I am thinking on doing a center overflow like you had on your old cube you just tore down so we'll see how it goes. It only took 10 mins to get through the glass:)

 im really liking this idea Krish, we have this killer anemone that we cant keep fish with and right now its in the clam tank and i dont like it there. we looked around for custom tanks a while back in the 24pod size range and i couldnt find anything under $550. F&S has the 24's on sale right now with the 150w MH for $329. i think we are going to get one, drill it and plug it in to the rest of the system. we wouldnt have to buy anything else;)

DisturbedReefer: Just wanted let you know that you used the word "norm" in a Krish post. That is a violation of the user agreement.:p :D

ROFL!!! That's not cheap!!! They even have them cheaper at Premium Aquatics!!!:D http://www.premiumaquatics.com/Merc...duct_Code=CU-USA07055&Category_Code=Aquariums

We all violate the user agreement at one point or the other:p

LOL!!!

Only Krish could start a thread about ripping apart a nano-cube and get 35 posts.

ROFL!!! :p Yeah, it's nuts man Curt!! What will I think of next huh?(LOL)

And the count goes onward, holes in Aqua-pods, we need to Patent on this Krish!

LOL!!! Hope the rest goes well! I may get started on the overflow this week. Get my friend to do it on the laser. The pvc bottom and the overflow is the easy part. It's what I want to do for flow and a sump I'll have to think through. Who ever thought you could have a durso in an Aquapod(LOL):)

LOL! No prob! That's where I got mine...I bought the one with the 70w HQI and later upgraded the lighting to the 150w (which I should have got from day 1) as it ended up costing me basically what I paid for the whole tank setup initially:p The 150w will be great for your clams IMO...The 70w was a little lacking:)
