i recently purchaced a divisa. upon greater inspection it appears that a section of the skeleton has been damaged. it has only been in my tank for a few days but polyp dieback has began from the affected area. what i am unsure about is there is a clearish brown silk on the skeleton that is getting larger everyday. it is tempting to clear it off the coral but i am unsure wether it is a process of coral regeneration or spread of algea. should i keep the coral clear, or let it the silk continue to develop?

hm.. not quite sure what the brown silk can be; however, when my frogspawn died it turned into a brown 'puddle' of tissue just sitting inside the skeleton and to prevent further decay, I was able to suck it out with a syringe

that sounds like what im goin thru. i will keep the coral clear as you say, cheers. ps are you gona b a rychu someday?

yeh i have a spare thunderstone ill traded for a moon stone coral lol
