when i make my own food i to make it in cube form i just spread the food out on a baking sheet with wax paper on the bottom then i have a pre cut piece of egg crate(light diffuser) and use it as a cookie cutter so to speak so that i have small cubes to feed them with

Nice post Adam. I have been using the mix seafood bags from the asian market for years to make my own food too. its a huge money saver. I pick mine up for like 3 bucks and its a mix of squid, octpus, clams, oyster, muscles. plus I add brine shrimp, nori (get that there too 100 sheet for like 5 bucks), garlic powder, iodine, and little ro water. Also use the mini icecube trays from the dollar store. nice to see some one listed this. i vaccum seal mine as it will last longer that way.
