I was asked to start a build thread with pics, so here you have it. I built my stand over a month ago, so no pics on that one. I'll post pics of the finished product tomorrow or so. But, I do have pics of what I did today to my canopy. The total height without the hood is 12". If my measurements are correct, I should have 9" or so clearance between the water level and the glass on my MH lighting system. It will sit right on top of the tank trim as you see it. I'm going to install some trim that will cover the tank trimming, that's what I'll be doing tomorrow.
