Do I have to clean my sand??

Do I have to clean my sand I have 2 cucumbers many sand sifting snails, not shure if I should be doing somthing with it or leave it. "live sand"

Let the cleanup crew do it. If you clean it manually, there will be nothing for them to eat.

what kind of snails do you have? Nassarius are great for sand also sand sifting stars are great too.

I have some Ceriths,Tectus,Nerites,astraea,Trochus,Nassarius.
No stars.

Yeah, if you have sand sifting cleanup crew, I wouldn't touch the sand bed. If the sand is still dirty then that probably means you just might need to add a few more sand sifters. In any event, the only time you would really want to vaccum the sand bed is if you didn't have a clean-up crew to do the work for you
