Reading this thread from the begining, includeing all the linked material really forces a guy to question so much more of the info which seems to be the general consensus of the "experts".

Good thing for Boomer, or this board likely would have remained clueless, misslead, and further missleading others.

Your talking about the link to finishing dot com, Right?
As far as I can see no one here was being misleading. I started this thread as a polite response and discusion in relation to a private message that told me I was putting myself at risk by drinking rodi water. I did not believe it, but I have been wrong many times. So I asked for other peoples opinions, thoughts, and information based on facts. This is not to be offensive. I would just like some clarification on what was meant.

Yes, I was talking about the water purification experts from the finishing dot com thread. They got me pretty riled up with the spewing of BS.

I enjoyed this thread you started, and Im glad that it was able to arive firmly in the reality of the harmless effects of drinking ro/di water.

I know it can be hard to interpret what somebody intends when they are typeing it rather than writeing it, nothing offensive intended, and I hope nothing offensive was taken.

I will try to word things a little more clearly.

I have been drinking RO/DI for many years and love the clean taste and I don't have to drink all the carsnigenic [spelling] crap in city water. There are alot of minerals in city water and some not very good for you. John at ARS says to not use the color changing DI units if you are going to drink it, and the non color changing units say potable water right on the unit.
