I have a ten gallon tank on a shelf next to my main display 180 it get light 24/7 it is full of macro algae pods and snails/hermits...

I've gone with fuge & without. my water conditions are just all around a lot more stable with. I'd recomend anyone with the space strongly consider if they are not already using.

I LOVE them, would have a tank with out one . Of course, there is something different for everyone, and i say to do what you like the best.
