Just thought I post on my results so far.
I've stripped the 120 down of acros and use the opportunity to reaquascape and make the tank less of a reef wall. I gave it a slope so it is more "maintanance friendly". I like the way it looks but want more acros in it. Everything is in my crowded little 40 breeder and doing well after the second dip. Belive it or not, alot of my colonies (the torts) are doing better under the newer 10Ks. I new my 14Ks in the 120 were old, but wow. So far nothing is browning and everthing seems to extend its polyps and act normally after about 15 minutes back in the tank. I only found a few AEFWs on the frag tank colonies that were worst hit. Nothing came off of any corals from the 120. Here are a couple pics. Ill post a befor and after so anyone reading this can see what AEFWS will do to your display even if you dont lose colonies.
Also, I like excuses to post pics of my tanks. Believe it or not, I had to add about 20pounds of LR to the tank.
