I have colonial hydroids, over the last couple of months they've shown up. I have no idea where they came from, nothing has been added to the tank in quite a while. They're not taking over, or even a huge problem, but as a stinging animal I want them gone before they become a problem. I've been removing manually, which does little to nothing, of course.
Any ideas are welcome-

They can come from feeding live brine shrimp including hatched baby brines. Care should be taken to strip off the outer shells when hatching baby brines.

Dan

Where did you come up with that ?

They come from the water that you may get form the LFS or rocks, other inverts, etc., you buy.

ID help Hydroids??

I was wondering if someone could ID these. I'm guessing they're some kind of hydroid they're speading extremely fast and seem to be colonial
Thanks
