I have a ton of flow in my 50 gallon. I used to have red slime algae but since I increased my flow its all dying off. So bassically I'm curious if the green could be some sort of corraline algae growth. My lights are still good, and I just replaced 2 of 4 of my 54 watt t-5's. anybody know what it may be?

thanks

Sorry I love to play with my D40 :D
here is a pic of my green coraline.

It all starts as kinda like a white dot and if you dont keep it scraped down you get this

LOL

mine is growing on my rocks though.. I'm sure I have enough light on the spots its developing. I have some pink corraline on my rock too, but this is different. I'll take a picture of it..

Coralline comes in a lot of different colors. I have some green coralline in my refugium (growing in all the same spots as the purple stuff). I've seen organge coralline too.

well this stuff is like a perfect peppermint green. There is no thickness to it yet. basically it looks like those area's of my rock are turning color. My camera's dead or I'd take some pictures. its just a lot different than any other "algae" ive seen.

I cant find a picture of it on google either
