Does my clam have pinched mantle?

HELLO! The clam needs better light! Not a dip, not feeding, not touching,not chemicals, it needs MH lighting. Sorry to be so blunt, but it seems to be a tough point to accept. Clams need very bright light or they fade into oblivion...

Well he barely opens up. His shell stays the same. Should I try feeding him?

Might help a bit but they rely on light. If you mess with him he'll get even more stressed.

feeding is not going to help at this point. and as long as the clam stays closed it is missing even more energy from the lighting it should be under.

In the photos he dosnt look bad, but if hes declining I'd definatly put a rush on finding him a home that can support him.
