This is a new addition. Simply put it turns my sump section of the tank on/off with the little remote control. Return, heat and skimmer for maintenance.
Very simple to put together and cheap under $25.

Here is the link to the kit. http://www.xoxide.com/remote-12vdc-relay-kit.html all you do is take it out of the plastic box and put it in a bigger box with a radio shack relay. My relay is 12vdc coil /10a @ 110v wire it up per the very simple instructions and your done.

Forgot one thing. If you substitute the radio shack relay for a elk 960 you will have a remote control feeding timer for only a few dollars more.

One 18" cast iron pipe 3/4" with a four bolt flange. All covered in padauk.

I made my return pipe yesterday, looks pretty good. Just a capped of 1.5" pipe drilled and tapped for a few 3/4 lock lines.
