Dream Tank giveaway?

I am sure that many of you occasionally puruse craigslist from time to time looking at the aquarium stuff, and I am sure many of you have seen the guy in Port Orchard that has been trying to sell that dream 520 for 6 months now. It has to be one of the most awesome setups I have ever seen and i would love to own it as I am sure many of us would. Was thinking.. wonder if RF or PSAS could run a raffle, say, sell 100 tickets at 50 bucks each and the winner gets that 520 reef? I mean, who among us can drop 6k on a new tank, but a chance to win a dream tank for 50 bucks? And the knowledge that ONE of us, would win it? But are there 100 local reefers out there that have room for a tank that size? Also out of the few that do have the room, How many can afford to run a monster like that?

Ya goodluck selling it. The guy has had it on CL for 6 months for a reason. I've been watching it. He is pretty persistent posting it haha.

I could sell it for $51 and still make a profit!! He is looking at selling at a loss. LOL

Ive been watching that tank also. The close loop and all thats going on in the stand is awesome. But, when i contacted him back in october by email requesting to see the tank, i got an email back telling me no. Thats it. Just...no. So i dont know exactly how bad he/she really wants to sell it. And the return address along with the response left me with a bad feeling, like its a scam or something. I live in port orchard.

Yeah it has been up for pretty long. I would stick that monster in my basement...don't want to crash the floor through lol.

That tank is too big for me. I need a shorter tank so that I can reach the bottom of the tank.

I'd buy a ticket I pay a flat rate for electricity. I would just have to find a way to fit it through the front door!

I would like the tank, but I would pefer a 120x20x20 tank if I could choose my own dimensions.

dang i already have a 360 gallon reef and a 160 gallon saltwater fish tank and i would be down to buy a few tickets. i havent looked on craigslist. i guess i need to go check it out.
