Hello,

Anyone out there drilled there a glass tank successfully? If so, what was the trick and can you help me?

Any recommendations on local shops that drill glass tanks?

Thank you all!

it's is possible to drill your glass, just take ur time in doing it,let the drill bit do the work and don't put alot of pressure on the bit or it will crack the glass.if u have a piece of glass u can try drilling that piece before u try to drill ur tank

hopefully this will help:D

I've successfully used a glass drill bit from jehmco.com . They also provide good instructions.

i had 3 holes drilled in my 125 gallon tank at deering glass in tacoma. there number is 253-565-1229 it's about $20.00 a hole. they did a great job.

I have drilled glass tanks before, please do your self a favor and have a professional do it; they will have all of the correct equipment such as diamond bit drill hole cutters.
