Drilling Acrylic

Can someone tell how or if I can drill a 55 gal. acrylic tank for an overflow and closed loop? Can you drill the bottom if it's already built? What do I need?

You can drill acrylic at any point and almost any where you wish.

use a hole saw for cutting wood. it fits in a drill. check out the plumbing threads in the tank design section there is some awesome info there

just make sure you drill slow so the acrylic dosen't get to hot

What kind of coolant do you use for drilling?

you don't need any just drill farley slow so you dont warp the acrylic
