Drilling glass Question

Can 3/8" thick glass be drilled in the same way as 1/4?

As long as it's not tempered, it'll probably be easier. 1/4" glass has more of a tendency to crack.

+1, just go really slow. I've drilled 1/2" glass, and 1/8" glass (120g tank and a 10g tank). The 1/2" was by far the easiest, it just took half an hour a hole.

just feel the glass for heat and stop if it gets hot and the most important part is the very end just use light to no pressure

I'm making a rimless tank but just don't see how the silicone alone can hold 94 gallons without braces.

Can you guys shed some light?
