drilling tank

first of all hi to everyone. this is a great site for those of us that are just getting into this hobby and i would like to thank everyone for posting all the info. i have a 72 gal oceanic bow front set up for cichlids right now but i am going to buy a new tank for the cichlids and would like to know if you can drill this tank for a overflow system. if anyone could help me with this that would be great.

Hey Fenner,
You need to check if your tank is tempered glass or not. I believe you can not drill tempered glass. Maybe someone else can give more advise. Take Care, Scott

Do not drill tempered glass it will shatter!!!
