I just got my 50lb order of dry rock in from Reefrock.net. Looks good, I'll try to get some pictures here later.

One step closer to getting my 90g up and running.

and 1 of the two boxes of sand arrived as well, I have to call the post office if it doesn't arrive tomorrow

Yep, I have a 10g that has probably close to 18lbs, if not more of live rock already cycled and running fine. I'll be using those to help seed my new dry rock. I'm in no rush to get my 90g fully cycled, I'm not looking to even start quarantining fish until after New Years.

cool. i did my 75 the same way, but with marco rock. it did leach some phosphates, but since i wasn't in a hurry either, i was able to use that time to fight the bad stuff from my 'old' live rock. patience really made a difference with that tank compared to my 60. it was a lot easier to be patient though since the 60 was already running ;)
i haven't seen much about reefrocks.net, although i see they say the rock is professionally cleaned. do you expect to not see any leaching because of that? i'm just wondering. the marco is 'mined' as well, and it was pretty clean when I got it, but somehow i think as far as mined rock, your going to have to deal with phos regardless..

I ordered 50lbs from reefrocks.net

No detectable phosphate for the first 2 days with Red Sea test kit. Maybe I didn't wait long enough for phosphate leach before I started cycling it after 2 days.

What really brought me to reefrocks versus Marco and other online sites was the sand. 40lbs of sand free (well, you pay shipping, but that was only about $15) per 25lbs of rock ordered. so for about $118 I got 50lbs of rock and 80lbs of sand.
