This is what I have so far. stuck on a leaky gasket. anyone know what I can do to stop the leak? its a gasket material from the HW store.

You might try using some Vasoline to stop the leak. I used that on a Protein skimmer once and it did the trick. Its not water soluable.

route a groove in the top of the cylinders and use o rings

good ideas, I'll start with the vasoline. Routing a groove wont be easy...thanks
