I need to frag my duncan coral and was wondering about the best way to do it. The only frag i have gotten from it was by accident when a rock fell over on it. Do i just break it off or saw it or? Any help would be great! Its netween the size of a softball and small cantelope.

i've found fragging duncans rather easy due to the hard skeleton. i've only done it once though, used a hacksaw. if you have iodine you should do a dip afterwards to help heal/infection.

You can use hack saws and other things but the best is if you or someone (fellow reefer) has a wet saw designed for corals. There are a few ones on the forum who has one that can help. I've always payed with a frag. That's my 2cents

You can use a dremel also. Thats what I am using. I will have a coral band saw by mid january. Could be sooner if I get it for a Christmas present.

Always dremeled, myself. Just be careful of the heat they create from friction and keep the area wet
