Which anemone is the easiest to keep for hosting Percs under VHO lighting 440 watts in and 80 gallon tank.
Thanks for your advice in advance

I was thinking the BTA would be a good choise. I was also thinking about a Carpet but I know their harder to keep for a long period of time which is what I'm hoping to do. If I'm not mistaken the Rose colored BTA is the easiest to keep of the BTA for a long period of time if I'm wrong someone please let me know.
I would also like to do some reading about which hosting anemones are best (or easiest) to keep if anyone can recommend some good reading be it a book or online links are needed.
I want to keep only 2 maybe 3 Anemones and 6 to 8 clownfish in an 80 gal tank with a 30 gal sump with VHO lighting 440 watts the tank is 17 inches tall 48 inches long and about 2 feet wide. My plans are to have about 80 lbs of live rock and about 2 inches of live sand a 6x6x48 inch homemade skimmer, no bio balls and a pump larger enough to turn the water over 8 to 10 times an hour. If you see where I can improve on this setup please feel free to give your advice. I have about 7 or 8 years of experience in keeping a reef tank but I haven't had a tank up a running in about ten years and I almost feel like a begginer again.
Thanks for any and all advice in advance. Mike

welcome to reef comedy :D .
ok after that said, hmm i have heard that some anemones can be kept in VHO lighting, but that they would prefer having MH lighting.
Anemones can be hard to keep if you don't know what's their needs so it really depends on what you are looking for. like let's say LTAs i believe those are not as hard as other type of anemones but you need to have a little sand bed for them.
The rose bubbles, i believe they are not hard to keep and quite beautiful, they pretty much stay on rocks.
I don't knwo if you are looking for an anemone for your clown fish, because if that's the case, you have to look for what type do they host in the wild or may be you can buy a coral that can substitute the anemone like a nice leather coral or sometimes clowns would host mushrooms or another type of corals.
Anyways, here are some Links that can help you on deciding what you want and how to take care of it.:) Maxx (Nick) gave them to me and i really learned a lot about anemones.
hope it helps and if you got anymore questions please ask :)
