So, yesterday, Angie, Madison and I went on a hike, at Riverside State Park. Took the camera along, of course.

If you look close, you'll see Geese, nesting, at the top of this very tall tree. More on this later.

So, after crossing the bridge, and hiking about a mile, on the return hike, I took a detour, to get closer to the above mentioned goose nest.

So, while I'm on the detour, Angie and Madison walk down to a lil' beach area, below the bridge. I get a text, telling me, "Hurry up, there's baby geese!"

So, I trot down there, hoping they'll still be around, when I get there. I guess I missed some really great action. This is a second set of adult geese, with their 6 goslings. "Goslings," that's what they call baby geese...lol. It seems, before I got there, all of the geese/goslings, were in the water, which is raging, this time of year. I guess one of the goslings got separated from the family, as the family was making for shore. The parents were honking away, as the gosling disappeared downstream. The parents went silent...

A few minutes later, here comes the gosling, paddling upstream, furiously, which set the parents into a honking frenzy again. I missed the separation and reunion, but got these photos of the family relaxing...
