Just got mine filled it with water and sand but I am nervous about how sturdy these stands are. Has anyone had a bad issue with these stands?

I don't know anything about those stands but I can say that I don't think I've ever heard a complaint about Elos build quality in general. If they were putting out a sketchy product you would hear about it, especially at the prices that Elos charges for their stuff. Post up some pics.

Just got Real Reef LR today. Love the tank, not crazy about the stand it was put together correctly. When I clean the glass tank wobbles a bit. :( Had a Red Sea Max, hated the tank, stand was built like steel.

Is there a way to reinforce the Elos stand and no less with water and rock or does it have to come down to do that?

If your not happy with the stand and want to shore it up, the tank will have to come down, in my opinion. Jason

If it wobbles when you're working with the tank then it does sound like there's a problem. Is the tank moving on top of the stand or is the stand moving under the tank? If the tank is moving you may be able to resolve your problem with a thin sheet of foam. Place it under the tank and trim it to size with a razor blade. If the stand is moving under the tank look to see if you can detect movement at the seams. Look to see if there is movement where the top sits on the side panels or from one side panel to another.

Did you buy the setup new? If so I'd take it up with the place that sold it to you or contact Elos directly. If used you may have no option other than to disassemble the stand and reassemble it with glue and screws to stabilize it. Post up more details on where the movement is occurring and what parts appear to be moving.

Thats a great tank. I would reassemble the stand and make it a little more stable if I were you.

Is it possible to get corner blocks and just screw those in to the back 4 corners to shore it up. And a couple angle brackets towards the top front and bottom front? Might be easier and help stabilize it without having to take it apart.
I'd still take the tank off to do it. Would be easier to lie it down on its back to work on it.
