Ok, see if anyone is getting notifications, make sure you are subscribed to get notifications.

I also have same problem. Will test out with this thread.

One workaround I use to see any updates on threads occasionally: There is a drop-down "Quick Links" menu on top "to see all subscribed threads".

I do have 3 messages in my gmail account, but they went to spam.
Anyone have a tip to get them going back to my inbox in gmail?

For a while it was doing ok without having to do anything.
But, one thing I've noticed is gmail is not forwarding the messages that show up there.
So this may be a gmail problem.

My issue with gmail started back in july

In the Spam folder open up the email, on top there is an option to delete and right next to that option is the Not Spam button, just click that. It will automatically move to the inbox.

I did that, but it only moves that individual email to the inbox.

Try this..........

Legitimate mail is marked as spam

If you find a message wrongly classified as spam, you can unmark the message. Just select the message, and click the Not Spam button that appears at the top and bottom of your current view. Unmarking a message will automatically move it to your inbox.

If you find that some senders' messages are consistently being mislabeled as spam, you can prevent this by:

Adding their email addresses to your Contacts list. Gmail will deliver messages from members of your Contacts list to your inbox, unless we know with high confidence that they are spam.
Some messages sent from contacts which are very clearly spam can be sent directly to your Spam label. More importantly, in some cases messages from contacts will not be sent to Spam but will be marked with a red warning banner if the content is suspicious - for example, your friend's or contact's account has been compromised and used to send phishing messages.
Creating a filter so the messages are never sent to Spam.

I did that, but it only moves that individual email to the inbox.

Switch to yahoo mail!! No failures here :)

Do you know how to set up forwarding yahoo mail?

I am always going to use Windows Live Mail.
I set up a gmail account and was given instructions last spring on how to have all the stuff forwarded to my Windows account. I can't find those instruction now and gmail has stopped working for me.
So I have set up a yahoo mail account and I can change the email address here, but I need to have yahoo forward it. But I can't find those features at yahoo.
