Email woes

Hey does anyone else have a problem with the board NOT sending emails out for thread updates? About 25% of the time I don't get email notification when someone posts something in a thread I'm subscribed to.

As far as I know my email provider is very reliable.

To get back to the topic

I don't have any problems. The forum will email once, if there are additional posts after, you will not receive another email until you visit the board after the email was sent.

Yeah Chuck that seems to work ok for me... just sometimes I don't get the emails when I expect them. Maybe I'll turn off my spam filter for awhile. I always wanted a Rolex anyway.

are you sure they're not going to your junk e mail?
because sometimes mine go there for some reason and sometimes i get them in my inbox.

My e-mail notifications were being bounced as spam somewhere along the way. (I have a permanent e-mail address at a mail bank that is forwarded to my current ISP.) All of my notifications stopped for a while and then resumed when this was fixed, but maybe something similar is stopping some of your notifications.
