Hey guys, I was just wondering if any you had an opinion on the Eshopps PSK 100 skimmer. It's for a 90 gallon tank. This skimmer just caught my eye because it's very affordable compared to most skimmers, it's rated for up to 100 gallon tanks, and I looked up reviews and they all seemed favorable. So any thoughts? I wouldn't mind upgrading to the 150 either, since it's not much more expensive. Any other suggestions? I'd like to keep it fairly affordable.

Great skimmer IMO for a hang on back type. We have one on our 65gal frag tank. The only draw back is the small collection cup but they have a drain tube that can be routed into an auxiliary container that helps. In your case though, if you are going to be running a sump I think you might find an in-sump skimmer to be a little better only because they are larger (with a bigger collection cup :D).

Sorry I did not realize they had an in sump model.

Good for the price but the pump will give up within 3 to 12 months depending. I loved mine until the pump gave up and became a heater for my sump. I can easily say that the PSK-75 I had worked better than the Red Sea Berlin X2 skimmer which is much more expensive.
