Expert advice needed.

yeah i didn't run a skimmer while i cured my rock. you could always just switch the skimmer back and forth alot of work for probably very little payoff. just do the water changes and blow the dead stuff off the rocks every few days.

Okay.... here is what I have decied to do. Tell me if this sounds like a good idea or not...

I am just going to cycle the new rock in my new tank, and when it is fully cured I can trasnfer over my livestock from my exisiting tank and the rest of my live rock from that tank.
