well like the title says today i decided to turn my lights early and so while i was watching my torch i started to see these extremely small white dots on it and then i started looking for them and they were on my glass too.
they walk quite fast and they are extremely tiny less than 1mm i wish i could take a picture but they are so small.
does anyone know what they are? are they bad?

Sorry to hear you got something out of the ordinary in your tank Gabby. I hope it turns out to be something good.

thanks so much everyone.
actually these things are way way smaller than a amphipod or copepod they kind of look like the red bugs (the sps ones) but in white.
i really had to force my eyes to see them and like i said they walk kind of fast :(

I suspect they are harmless pods. I wouldn't be too concerned with them. Enjoy them as part of your tank's diversity! :)

Small white dots are usually harmless (in your tank anyway); like Nikki said, probably just small pods.

Sorry i couldn't resist. Ya know, after gettin krish so good. lol
I have to agree with everybody else, they have got to be teeny tiny pods.

lol you almost got me :D.
at first i was sweating but then i remember that Nikki and Clay said they were pods so i was like ohh yeah ha !!! :D
you know the time you got krish was pretty sweet even i believed it.
