I upload my pics that I size myself in DPP (Canon DSLR software comes with camera) or Photoshop depending on how much postprocessing I do... to my own domain and hosted by my ISP. From there I use the 'Insert Image' icon (yellow box above) and copy and paste the www address. This will insert the full picture (no thumbnail) directly into your message. If you 'go advanced' you can preview your message with pics before you post your reply.

Well, I didn't do it the way you're describing...I don't think...lol.

I put the URL between these (with the * removed)[img*]url[/img*]

Is that about the same thing you were describing?

I followed the directions in the sticky here at RF on how to post photos. I use photobucket...haven't been able to upload directly from my computer even when I make the pictures teeny! :doubt: Also what I like about photobucket is there are no popups. I am seriously thinking about giving them money. So for now it is free which I also appreciate.
