Do you spot feed it? I've never had one of these. I have a lobophilia that I spot feed once a month whether it needs it or not.

lobos fully need spot feeding that blue coral food is good imo opioin i will dig out the photos of my lobo it has changed alot in 2 years
it has probley given me the noticable growth and has come to be a coral that i like very much because i originaly bought it because it was 5 or 10 bucks
and heres my mates scoly its very green and has purple and blue on oral disc its pretty sic

Wow, Morgan, that's a big fat scoly too.
So how often do lobophilias need to be fed? And are you supposed to do it after lights out when the tentacles are extended I imagine? I guess I could do it early in the a.m. before the lights come on....

jan u can feed it if the tentecals are out to catch food normally has feeding reponse to brine shrimp or liquid food
as for how often, every other day, in the wild they would probly eat everyday so its hard to say if u over feed it it will spit it out

I did it this morning and the food blew away when I used a pipette so I tried a long tweezers. This time the tissue retracted around the mouth (weird looking! ) and the food just sat there at the surface of the mouth. I kept waiting for something to happen but nothing did so I left. Came back 30 minutes later and it was back to normal. I hope it ate.

I hope it ate.the tenticals will cum out or the coral these teneticals contain nemocysts which are sticky the u can shoot sum food on to the tenticel it should catch it and then move in a way to get the food to its mouth
