yep, the little squirrel paint mixer. 2-5 minutes of mixing with that and the water is almost completely clear after adding salt. It creates a pretty serious vortex when you get it going. I have also been using it in my bucket of IO salt to keep things mixed up as well. The company that makes the one in the pic has one made of steel that would work better since it doesn't have the fan blade 'blower' design on the mixing end. I've heard that when you buy a container of salt, you are supposed to mix the whole thing but that just isn't practical for most folks when you buy a bucket of salt meant for 160 gallons.

I'm gonna go with my 24" "eye"dropper. I had BigJay make me a pair of these, and they are the best feeding tool ever! no overfeeding, I can put the food right on the coral I want to feed, no muss no fuss.
