Howdy- The next meeting is not scheduled yet. I can't make it on the 24th, and others have things planned for the 17th already.

I'm thinking of skipping the July meeting, and having the August one at the Tri-cities get together.

Hey budgeon!

Just wanted you to know that I have a 150 gallon acrylic tank for sale. It is already drilled for a closed loop and has overflow boxes built by Brent. The tank stand and hood is $475.... Let me know if you are interested.

would like to join?

Hi I a m new to this hobby, I was wondering how one becomes part of your local club? I would like to be pick your brains and get to know others in this hobby. Thanks Kevin

Welcome to Reef Frontires :)

Just show up at the next meeting and you're in :D

Keep checking here and the date and location will be announced.

Regards,
Kevin

Thanks

Thanks, Kevin I was just in your store today, got the bilini from you. After I put live rock in my tank, and it does well, could I add that mandrian goby with the bilni in the same tank?

Yes it was. My problem is that I don't what goes well together, If goby's are terriotial to others, etc. I have Damsel ( A Domino)and a Chromis, can one put mutiplies of these fishes , do they school? or will world war 3 start? I am trying to keep it simple so I can get the tanks bioligical working well and get use to the chemistry. Thanks KevinC

A couple of sugestions. I would remove the Domino damsel it will be trouble as time goes on. The Chromis damsel will be fine. Your tank is not really big enough to support a Mandarin dragonet. You can have multiples of Chromis but they should be added all at once so that they are all on equal footing.

HTH,
Kevin

I'd just like to say thanks to kevinpo for having such a great lfs. I came in for the first time yesterday and was so impressed. I am brining my wife in this afternoon to show her our new home. What is the process of becoming part of the spokane reef society

Hi,
Thank you for the kind words!

Just show up at the next meeting and you're in. Brent usually schedules the meetings as we have no formal organization ....yet :)

Regards,
Kevin

Where do i get time and place for next meeting. I brought my wife and youngest son into your store this afternoon. My wife was as impressed as i was. We forgot to ask while there, In your coral frag tank that is furthest from your desk there is a fish that has a lot of the same colors on it as the colors of the corals. She wanted to know what kind of fish it was

The next meeting info will be posted here.

I have a juvenile Atlantic Blue tang (Acanthurus coeruleus), a Leopard Wrasse, Vlamigi Tang and a Bluespot Rabbitfish in that tank.

Regards,
Kevin

Actually it is at the Richland meeting. :)

I'll send an email out to remind people. If you don't get it, drop me an email or PM with your email address and I will add you to my list.

KCtrains and Knowledgeseeker,
Spokane Crew are exceptionally nice people. They make ya feel like a local. You just have to supply Kevin with a extremely Ice cold Pyramid Heffe and things go better as they evaporate. Seriously, That is a fun crowd. They have lots to offer for anyone wanting to learn about this hobby. I got to get a frag to Machelle. I feel a guilt trip coming on...

Thanks Ed, and you are very correct. Well so far i have only meet Kevin. The day i went into his store for the first time 3 weeks ago i was in awe of not only the store and products but of the costomer service. Spokane was needing such a professional and fun store. I cant wait to meet everyone else. I truly love this hobby, and it will be great to be surrounded by other people of the same feather.

do you know if there will be mushrooms to be able to choose from for frags for the first 35 poeple catagory?

I would be on it. Yellotang and Mikey Dog down here have lots. Rico has to kill them to keep them off his corals. I would bet on them reading this soon and filling your wish.
