Oh Man,
This is a sad day. I came home today and noticed my Tyree bubblegum monster has receded and lost one eye, my Jayda's Watermelon is also receding and my Westcoast watermelon is sliming. Can't figure out what the heck happened. I have all my chalices placed at the bottom in the same area. The other bunch of chalices are doing fine. Just wondering if anyone ran across this before.

Cal=420
Alk: 11
Mag: 1400
All other parameters are undetectable.

No changes what so ever......

Oh man that totally sucks Peter!!! I havn't ran into that problem yet. I hope you figure it out cuz those are some nice pieces! In the mean time while you figure it out they can go in my tank!:D:D:lol::lol:

Oh no that sucks sorry to hear that Peter. I've never had that happen to any of my chalices and hope i wont ever have that issue. Good luck with getting everything healthy again.

I moved them up to my frag rack. I will start to target feed them and hopefully bring them back to life. Hopefully they will eat. doesn't look good...

How do you supplement calcium and alkilinity?

Are you using GFO?

Do you have a ground probe for your tank to ground stray current?

Did your tank overheat today?

Just throwing some ideas out there.

I have a calcium reactor.
No on th GFO
No on the Heat....

thanks for the suggesstion....I did have a Mia's Pot of Gold favia in the near location. They don't reach out that far to sting do they?
