Filter Sock Micro Bubbles?

Had a quick question. I started using filter socks few months back. Bought it at barrier and had no problems. I just bought some new ones from Marinedepot and installed in right out of the box. Next thing I knew, I had tons of microbubbles in the DT. Could this be causing microbubles?

I guess my skimmer is going out of whack after installing the filter sock. that's where all the microbubbles is coming from.

i usually get MB if I lax on replacing my FP. as they overflow causing the MB.

I get microbubbles when using brand new filter socks but they usually go away in a couple hours.

fp = filter pads. sorry. mb = microbubbles.

mabye it's trapped air in the sock being displaced by the water moving through it? what if you try rinsing it under the faucet before placing it in the tank? I have 4-5 socks that I use on occasion and have never had a MB problem when switching them out.
