Well, after many adjustments and several pieces of rock removed, I think I am going to leave it like this. What do you all think?

I wish I could say that..."Final aquascape" Seems like it never ends for me(LOL) Looks great! Do you like it better now than before?

I do. Because my intent originally was to have it slope down from the left to the right. I had WAY too much rock in there to do that though. I had a hard time deciding which pieces to take out because they were all pretty nice.
After I posted this though I looked at it again and am now wondering if I can remove a couple more on the right side and have it come down lower.

I find it much harder to aquascape a small tank like this than a larger one. There is just so little space.

You know I was thinking maybe just a tad too much rock but then again you spent the money for it, so I guess you have no choice but to use it. The setup is nice but you know how mentioned that you want to turn your tank into a Zoo tank? Well....if you find a way to get rid of your rocks there would be more room for you Zoos. Remember some Zoos are already on rocks. Maybe you could get rid of your rocks and take back to your LFS and do sort of a trade of. My LFS does it. But yea..it's entirely up to you. Nice tank though. Good luck. Update the pic again if it's different. Love to see your Zoos!

Not this tank...the tank that this one replaced. You're right though, I still get the "too much rock" feel. Maybe I should take out the ones on the right side and use them in the zoo tank.

Looks great, nice job. I would be sure to just buy small frags of what ever you want and let them grow into the tank.

Some people like open looking tanks and some like it packed to look like a solid reef. I guess you'll have to go with what looks more visually appealing to you because you are the one who is going to be looking at it more than anyone else and also, I've learned you can't please everyone(LOL) Looks great IMO though:)

Can't please everyone??? LOL I can't even please myself. I've redone this thing sooooo many times it's driving me nuts. Thought I was done when I posted this and now I'm already thinking of ways that I would like to change it. LOL. Guess that's what makes this hobby fun though.

It's a neverending hobby. There is always something going on that we all have to deal with whether if it's upgrading, troubleshooting, etc....

I know...we can never please ourselves can we. I still think the best ascape I ever had was the one where the water was sooooo cloudy I couldn't see ANYTHING. I just threw everything in. When the water cleared it was pretty awesome. Then I "decided" to change it.

Well whatever I do to it isn't going to happen tonight. I've been in there enough for one day. lol. My hands are starting to crack. I'll leave it alone for a few days and see what happens.

Ever heard of the moron cycle? You can be my assistant(LOL) Looks good though...Might not hurt to leave it for now:rolleyes: (LOL)

Yeah I think I'm definately qualified to be your assistant. LOL I'm thinking though that I need an arched piece for the middle. Get rid of that flat looking one that's there now.
