I have a feeling this is a bad guy. I hate killing these things but if its going to hurt my sps then i'm going to dispose of it, so Yea or Nea? Its 10" long fwiw.

It looks like a normal bristle worm, not a fire worm.

Those tend not to hurt SPS, they feed on detritus and sediment in the tank.

My Vote, Dump it

Bristle worms are beneficial and not, mostly not. They will eat mushrooms, well almost anything to some degree. They're carnivorous scavengers. They also hurt a bit when your cleaning your tank and happen to touch one. Believe me, if you have one, you have many.

I've had plenty of them for yrs and generally leave them be as most are beneficial, unfortunately you run accross some that don't look as the norm like this guy, and even though it may be ok, it looks to close to a predator that i have to get rid of it.
