Haven't got the light bulb yet. Has a HOB filter with very course floss(lots of room for water to flow thru),25 watt heater,4 ls of sand and about 6 lbs of live rock.

Iplan on LPS dominant with "maybe" a softie or two. Might go with zoe's and LPS. Going to try it with a CL mini CF for lighting. Right now I have a normal flourescent twisty bulb in it.

Thanks for the welcome.

The light is 20 watts. I a will put 1 or possibly 2 small fish. Maybe just one because such a small tank.

Yea, I have a 3 gal and had a fish in it for a while. The waste caused too much algae, so I move it out. I did try running carbon, but it didn't help much. It was probably too big. There are some fish that are small and stay small. Anyway, good luck and keep us updated with your progress.

Added an MJ 404 mini with Hydor flo on it today. Thinking I might have to get a little bit more powerful pump but I'll wait and see what this does.

Took the hydor off today. Lots more flow. The hydor was sticking. It was used and I only paid $6 for it. Guy said I could bring it back if it didn't work so nothing lost. I heard that alot of pressure was lost with these but didn't know it was that much.

Turned on my light today and found one of my bluelegs out of it's shell. Think I scared it when I turned on the light because it's shell was right beside another empty shell.

I wasn't able to get the 50/50 mini compact so I bought a used coralife fixture with a new bulb. I was told it was 32 watts. I love the difference from the standard household 13 watt mini compact and my zoa's really are thanking me. Would like to have seen what the CL mini compact would have lookied like though.
