I have to do a college research paper, and i choice the topic of how some used to/still do used cyanide to poison the ocean just to capture marine fish. I read about it briefly in "Conscientous Marine Aquarist" and wanted to know if anyone had any other good sites/books so i research it better, thanks in advance.

People still do use "juice" aka "magic" aka sodium cyanide in both the capture of MO (marine ornamental - aquarium fish) and live/dead food fish. The largest use is by the live reef fish trade for SE Asia.

I have around 50 articles my boss, Steve Robinson, has written on the subject. Some I've converted into pdf format. I could email some of them to you, or mail you a cd, if you'd like. You can also email me if you'd like, I'm versed in this subject like no other as I've spent hundreds of hours on the subject.

Hey Gresham good to see you over here. Welcome!!

It has gotten better, in the old days the collectors wouldnt buy the fish from the diver unless the diver bought his cyanide.
