Fish Identification

I was just curious if anyone else has a chromis this "stubby".
I got him off a guy on clist, that said he got him as blue green chromis from petco.
It basically has the color of a chromis, but with the body of a yellowtail damsel.... possibly a hybrid???
I can't find anything similar on google. Anyone have any guesses on an ID?

Hmm.. it matches the body, but mine doesn't really have any yellow pigments.. Also, when it is sleeping or stressed, it has this blotched coloration with alternating dark blue and cyan blotches...

thats my best guess, maybe take that name into google, and see if you can get closer match

Ah I did. I'm not quite sure why I'm so obsessed with figuring out what type of fish this is, but either way, thanks for your input!

Possibly a dascyllus strasburgi or pomacentrus lepidogenys
