fish in refugium

Is it ok to put a fish in your refugium sump? I'm looking at putting a yellow angel peel. It keeps attaching all my corals.

Sure it is people do it all the time.

I had a yellow tail damsel in my 20 gal sump for a while. It did just fine. I have a serpent star in there now, and a shrimp. I'm going to try to catch the large bristle worm I found last night in my tank and move it over there as well.

Just as long as there's plenty of swimming room and no chance of it getting sucked into your return pump, go for it. I recently had a couple Black Occellaris in my refugium while I moved a Maroon Clown from one tank to another. They were in there and happy as can be for 3 days.
