well, lets see if this is any less completely retarded then tanked...
because that show made me throw up in my mouth.

I'm guessing coming from someone named Skimmy that it was brown and tasted like rancid seaweed!!!

Wait, you mean you can't just take water out of the faucet, fill up the tank and throw in the fish? HUH!

Personally, I liked the show tanked. Would I do any of the tanks the made. Only if I had money to throw around. Does the show make me want to throw up in my mouth, yes with jealousy, cause they get the big bucks, and get the cool tanks, and participate in bringing awesome reef, and fowlr setups to peoples business, and homes. Spreading the hobby around.

I like the show for the most part, the builds, etc. I don't like how the hobby is portryed being so simple.

I do believe that they should have a little more detail on the process, but unfortunately that doesnt make good tv. So we get to see their thoughts come to life. I personally like the show, and look forward to National Geo's take on it.

Yeah I see what your talking about. They could possibly go into more detail. But as far NG goes, I'd imagine they would probably go into more detail. And explain more on parts.

Well.... I'm looking forward to it.... and hoping for a bit more detail on background info this time around.... and at least National Geographic has a decent scientific reputation so should be a fair compromise between Good TV & Reality .

Cheers, Todd

Right on the nose, Todd :) I've got faith that NG will be a little more thorough and do more research into the tanks, rather than throwing in what the buyers think looks "cool" and "pretty" at the expense of the livestock.

I like Tanked. The builds are interesting. I don't watch it to learn all about the hobby. That's what books, forums & the LFS are for.

Can't wait to see what this new show is like.
