been doing a lot of research but still haven't found my answer, yet
maybe you guys can help me out
OK I read there reef safe but with caution so what are the cautions
read they are semi aggressive but if added last they are more calm and wont pick on less aggressive smaller fish is this true
I'm considering trading out a my fish that all they do is hide in the corner meaning my 3 bangie cardnails
and 3 chromis , for a more active fish , and leaving my clarkie ,dotty back and mandarin

as for coral mostly zoa's , a flower pot , frog spawn

or maybe suggestions on some more active reef safe fish
also thinking trading in my dotty since he seems to be a issue with any of my choices

I have never had a dwarf angel but have been looked in to them. It seems to come down to the individual fish. Some will be unholy terrors and tear up all corals and kill clams and inverst some will be modle citizens and be peaceful colorful fish. Some will start out well and them go to the dark side. :censored:

I ended up not wanting to risk it and got a few wrasses. So much color and many are reef safe unless you have tiny shrimp :)

I agree. Very well put. It is like rolling dice.

I had a Coral Beauty and a Lemon Angel and now have 2 flame Angels.

I lost the Coral Beauty when we upgraded our tank which was a shame. She was such a nice fish and left my corals alone.

Had to trade the lemon because he was such a terror to all the other fish but he never touched my LPS. He DID pester my LPS so I ended up moving them to my nano.

I've had my flame angels for 3 months now and they haven't bothered anything but I feed ALOT throughout the day so I don't know if that helps keep them busy and satisfied. I really like them.

But everyone says that you never know what a fishes personality is going to be so there are no guarantees.

Good luck!
