I have 2 sets of PC lights. 1 set is a coralife duel 50-50 PCs .My old bulbs were about 7 months old so a month ago I bought new ones. Today they started flickering. I removed them and made sure they were clean. They were so I replaced them and they still flickered. I then put in my old bulbs that worked great before and they did the same thing. About a year ago I had this same problem in a differant set of lights and the guy at the LFS fixed it in 2 min. He replaced a cheap part that he said commonly goes and people think the light is shot and buy a new one. He since lost his lease and I can't remember what part it was that commonly goes that causes this problem. Does any one know what it might be and where I can get one?

Some ballast require a starter/igniter to get the lamps fired up, could be maybe you have one of those types. If not then I'm guessing the ballast might be out If what your saying is true & both sets of lamps are doing the same thing. Check your wiring harness, ground make sure the end connections are all good!
