Anyone familiar with this pump? Looks small, supposed to be quiet, lot's of GPH. Might just be the ticket for my closed loop!

Really good pumps with lots of flow, quite, solid built including connection areas, and able to handle back pressure unlike DC pumps.

I almost bought one of these. I wish I would have, but decided to keep my reeflo pump.
It's pumping about the same as the Fluval and I did get use to the motor hum.

can they be ran as a external pump. how about heat. do they put off much heat.

That's what I need to use it for, external closed loop pump. Sounds perfect!

everything I've read about them says that yes they can be used external and heat wasn't a complaint I saw.
