Hullo.
I was given a used glass tank, and the glass appears cloudy.
There are no raised deposits, and I have scraped it with razor blades. I have tried lemon juice, vinegar, and also muriatic acid.
Because its an empty tank, and I have plenty of time to play with it, I also tried CLR, wich seemed to help, but the glass is still "cloudy" on the inside of the tank.
Has anybody ever seen this or had this happen? is the dang thing salvagable?
can I re-polish the glass??
options?
ideas?
thanks again,
-James
