Foxface with fin.... thing

This foxface for some reason has something going on with his bottom fin. We haven't been sure if it was a fungus or a parasite or what. I tried a fresh water dip with out sucsess and set it in a hosptial tank, but I am not sure where to go from here.

The picture (and its blow up) doesn't give me much help. I'm unsure what it is you're seeing and thinking something is wrong. It could be just me. Sorry if I'm a bit lame here. Are you concerned about the orange mark I see in the photo?

You could add more information so I get an idea of the fish's background, environment and water quality. The more information you provide (and maybe a better photo), the more I can help. At least provide info from A and B lists from the above link.

Fish is about 4-5" long. Had fish for about 3 weeks. Fish behaives and feeds normally. Nitrates were a tiny bit high in the system before, but should be good now. Tiny bit of diatom growth in the system, nothing else negative.

Fish ill. Unknown reason. Should have been quarantined.
