Frag Plugs - How do you mount them in rock?

I've heard of people drilling holes into rock to place frag plugs into them. I'd like to attach some plugs onto rock in my tank that I can't easily remove to drill. Is there a way to make the right size hole with the rock still in the water?

Thanks, Sculpin

I heard you can use a screw driver to drill the holes. Then use super glue gel to attach the plug.

Take the frag off the plug and then IC glue the frag directly to the rock. Just snip it off at the it will be fine. Then you can put the plug in a frag tank and see if you can get another coral going!

I agree unless the coral is encrusted of the plug.

What I normally do is just snip off the plug end so it leaves you with a flat surface and put your gel super glue on and stick it to your LR. In time your coral will encrust over the remaining plug and onto your LR.
