Frag Plugs

I ordered mine online. They are fantastic - cheap, durable, clip into eggcrate easily and versatile for mounting frags several different ways. I have tried others and would never go back. I got them from Uberfrags and I believe they are called "Coral cradles."

you can also get them from Premium aquatics and Custom Aquatics for around $0.35 each.

I use these too and like them the best so far.

I have been using these and have been pretty happy. The small ones work for frags but get a little tippy on larger colonies. I get 60 for less than $20 after shipping. It looks like the coral cradles posted above are comparable in price. I may have to try them the next time around

Ok, a "not so bright" question:
How do you get the frags out of the coral cradles?

They are plastic. The super glue wont adhere quite as well as to a ceramic plug in which case.

Hold the plug firmly with one hand while breaking the frag off with the other hand by pulling sideways as you hold it gently between the thumb and forefinger . :p

Or you could just clip off at the super glue w/ some bone shears.
